Chef Kiffin, a native of the Southwest, became inspired to open a casual Taqueria after traveling to Mexico. The open markets and culinary traditions he found in Zacatecas provided inspiration for the recipes he created for Zacatecas Tacos + Tequila + Bourbon. Our menu offers a selection of Mexican specialties with fresh, organic ingredients, and a
tequila bar featuring over 100 Tequilas, Mezcals, Sotols and a bourbon bar featuring over 90 Bourbons, Whiskeys, and Ryes.
Kiffin appointed longtime colleague and New Mexico native, Rodney Estrada, as Executive Chef; together they create a seasonally evolving menu that focuses on fresh and authentic Mexican food. Zacatecas Tacos +Tequila + Bourbon offers a large dining room area with front framed garage doors that open during the warmer months to make the entire restaurant feel like a patio. There is ample space for private parties and special events, accommodating up to 120 guests. In addition to onsite events the restaurant offers offsite catering and takeout orders.
